1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting learn.cognitec.in or submitting an enquiry form, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. About Us

Cognitec is an authorized Livewire Franchise providing classroom training in Data Science, Data Analytics, Embedded Systems, Cyber Security, and other IT courses. We have been operating since 2015 with training centers in Chennai and Coimbatore.

3. Eligibility

To enroll in our courses, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent)
• Provide accurate and complete information during enquiry and enrollment
• Have basic English literacy to follow course materials
• Meet any specific prerequisites mentioned for individual courses

4. Course Enrollment

Enrollment in any Cognitec course is subject to:

• Submission of completed enrollment form
• Payment of course fees (full or first EMI installment) before the batch start date
• Acceptance of our course curriculum, schedule, and policies
• Availability of seats in the chosen batch

Cognitec reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any individual at our discretion.

5. Course Fees and Payment

• All course fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes
• Fees once paid are subject to our Refund Policy
• EMI options are available through our partner financial institutions; terms apply
• Cognitec reserves the right to revise course fees at any time. Revised fees apply only to new enrollments and do not affect students already enrolled
• Payment receipts are issued within 7 working days of fee payment

6. Attendance and Conduct

• Students are expected to maintain a minimum 75% attendance to be eligible for certification
• Disruptive behavior, harassment, or misconduct may result in suspension or termination from the course without refund
• Recording of classroom sessions, sharing of course materials, or copying our content is strictly prohibited
• Students must follow the dress code and conduct expected at our training centers

7. Certification

Upon successful completion of the course (meeting attendance requirements and clearing assessments), students receive a Livewire Master Certificate. Cognitec certifications are issued by Livewire and are recognized within the industry as Livewire training credentials. They do not represent equivalence to any university degree.

8. Placement Assistance

Cognitec provides placement assistance (not placement guarantee) including:

• Resume building and review
• Mock interviews and feedback
• Referrals to our network of 73,000+ hiring partners
• Job alerts and career guidance

Final job offers and salary packages depend on the student's performance in interviews, market conditions, and hiring partner decisions. Cognitec is not liable if a student does not secure employment.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and course materials (text, videos, presentations, code, design) are the intellectual property of Cognitec/Livewire and are protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

10. Limitation of Liability

Cognitec, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Career outcomes or job placements (we provide assistance, not guarantees)
• Third-party content or links accessed through our website

11. Use of Website

You agree NOT to:

• Use our website for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information through enquiry forms
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise the security of our website
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content without written permission

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
